Our Mission

The mission of Georgia Lenders Quality Circle (GLQC) is to facilitate the education, fellowship, recognition and exchange of information among the small business lending community and supporting entities that participate in government guaranteed loan programs and other similar federal, state or local economic initiatives.

Our History

In July 2003, a group of thirteen small business lenders came together to address a critical gap in the lending community: the lack of suitable training, networking opportunities, and industry recognition. They recognized that small business government guaranteed lenders in their District needed a dedicated ecosystem to connect, collaborate, and grow.

An initial networking event sponsored on October 16, 2003, demonstrated that the idea of an association was popular among many area participants, so they continued to define the mission of this group. Thus, the Georgia Lenders Quality Circle (GLQC) was founded to meet these needs. Since its inception, GLQC has been committed to fostering education, professional fellowship, and the exchange of valuable insights among lenders and supporting entities involved in government guaranteed lending.

Over the years, GLQC has evolved into a dynamic network where members can access industry-leading knowledge, share best practices, and build meaningful professional relationships. Through workshops, seminars, and recognition programs, the organization continues to empower lenders, helping them navigate the ever-changing landscape of small business financing.

Today, GLQC stands as a beacon for excellence, collaboration, and advancement in the small business lending community.
